Nazava is a social business whose mission is to provide safe and affordable drinking water to everybody everywhere by producing and selling high quality, low-cost household water filters.
In Indonesia, 72% of the population uses well water and 26,000 children die annually through diarrhoea caused by the consumption of contaminated water. To address this, Nazava has developed an innovative model in collaboration with local and international universities.
Nazava provides safe drinking water to 450,000 low-income people. By 2024, the ambition is to reach 2M people.
Isla Urbana
Since its founding in 2009, Isla Urbana Mexico has been at the forefront of strengthening rainwater harvesting in urban areas, beginning with the installation of the first systems in Mexico City.
Efficient rainwater harvesting systems provide families and schools, that face water scarcity, with a sustainable, high-quality water source, meeting up to 100% of their water needs. These systems decrease reliance on municipal water, result in significant energy savings and mitigate flooding.
